Privacy Policy

01Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account information — your email address and, if you provide it, your name. Authentication is handled through our provider (Supabase); your password is never visible to us.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We retain a record of your purchases and account credit balance.
• Documents and content you submit — the motions, filings, and text you upload or paste for analysis, and the analysis we generate in return.
• Usage and technical data — basic logs such as request times, error events, and the number of analyses run, used to operate and secure the service.

02How we use your information

• To provide the analysis you request and maintain your account and credit balance.
• To process payments and send receipts and required account notices.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
• To respond to your support requests and communicate about the service.

03Your documents and confidentiality

This is the part that matters most to our users, so we want to be plain about it:

• Documents you submit are used only to generate the analysis you asked for and to deliver it back to you.
• We do not sell your documents, and we do not use them to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model.
• To produce an analysis, document text is processed through third-party AI infrastructure under confidentiality terms that prohibit using your content to train their models.
• Citation checks are run against our own self-hosted legal database, so your citations are not exposed to a public lookup service.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any document, and for complying with your own confidentiality and privilege obligations.

04How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run PreRuling, and only as needed:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — account authentication and profile storage.
• Hosting and AI infrastructure providers — to serve the site and generate analyses, under confidentiality terms.
• Legal compliance — if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• Business transfers — if PinkViper Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

05Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your submitted documents and analyses at any time (see your rights below). Some records may be retained in backups for a limited period before they are overwritten.

06Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and a self-hosted, read-only citation database. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07Your rights and choices

You may request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information and submitted documents. To make a request, email us using the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR.

08Cookies and local storage

PreRuling uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our payment and authentication providers may set cookies necessary for their services to function.

09Children

PreRuling is a professional tool intended for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
